Question

Im interested in getting a Xbox , any advice on what edition I should get?
From what I heard, there are many different editions of Xbox s you can get. Any advice on which I should try to buy and how much it would cost?

Answer

The best all around bundle right now is the Premium.. its GB hard drive is enough for saving games and downloading demos and game content from Xbox Live.. with the two games currently included at the . price it is an excellent deal..brbrThe consoles themselves are the same.. the only difference is the bundled accessories and the color.. brbrHere is a rundown of the differences in the various systemsbrbrPricebrArcade .brPremium .brHalo SE .brElite .brbrStoragebrArcade MB memory unitbrPremium amp Halo SE GB hard drivebrElite GB hard drivebrbrVideo CablebrArcade Composite cablebrPremium amp Halo SE Component HD cable up to pbrElite Component HD cable HDMI cable both up to pbrbrColorbrArcade amp Premium WhitebrHalo SE Spartan green and goldbrElite BlackbrbrOther stuffbrPremium amp Halo SE amp Elite ethernet cablebrPremium amp Halo SE amp Elite Xbox Live headsetbrHalo SE Play and Charge kitbrbrOther than that some Premium amp Elite packages have games packed in.. the Arcade has a disk with arcade game.. All consoles now come with a wireless controller.. All consoles have a HDMI output port..brbrBasically the Arcade is good to get started with.. the memory unit can be used to save games.. you can play online on Xbox Live.. you can add on the hard drive later if you want.. If you plan to play online a lot or plan to download xbox live arcade games or other content from xbox live you will probably want the Premium.. If you plan to download lots of content like High Def movies from the marketplace you will want the Elite. The only difference between the Halo SE and the Premium is the coloring and the Halo SE comes with a play and charge kit for the controller..brbrBecause the base systems are the same when you decide you need more functionality in the future you can just buy the additional accessories.. so say you buy an Arcade today and later decide you should have bought the Elite.. you can buy the GB hard drive, video cables and Xbox Live headset and end up with the exact same functionality as you would have had with the Elite it just wont be black..brbrGood luck..
